The History

Seilevel is a business analysis and product management company I founded in 2000.  I joined forces with Joy Beatty, and along with our team, we have helped some of the biggest companies in the world build software their customers love. Joy and I co-authored the award-winning book, Visual Models for Software Requirements, a guide based on our approach to building the right software.

Around the same time I started Seilevel, my friend, Michael Trafton, founded Blue Fish, which has helped some of the world’s most successful companies design, develop, and deploy mission-critical technology solutions. Michael was joined by Lisa Hill and together they built a modern thriving agency embracing strategic technical partnerships with companies like Alfresco, M-Files, Ephesoft, Magento and BigCommerce.

Michael and I have been advisors to each other for years and finally decided to join forces this summer.
