Data Flow Diagrams

A Data Flow Diagram (DFD) is an RML Data model that shows a visual representation of the flow of information through systems, data stores, and actors, focusing on how data changes or is used through processes. DFDs show the systems in a way that ties many different Process Flows or System Flows together as particular process or pieces of data are used across many Process Flows. DFDs do not show decisions and are not sequential processes.
