Requirements Core Concepts (the formal name of our Requirements Fundamentals Training) is an introduction to the art and science of business requirements training, and is the first class in our Requirements Training program. In this training course we cover every aspect of good product design practices, from effective visual modeling to managing product requirements through their entire life cycle.

We hate giving lectures as much as you hate sitting through them, so expect to get hands on in our business requirements training class to collaborate with your classmates, draw silly (albeit important) pictures, and play with real-life scenarios throughout the day to explore and practice the skills we introduce.

We offer our requirements fundamentals training course both as an in-person seminar and online instructor-led class. No matter how the class is delivered, we use hands-on activities and student collaboration and discussion to really explore the material and get the most from the class time.
We sometimes offer public classes at pre-scheduled times and places. We also offer private requirements fundamentals training classes for your organization’s unique training needs. Because our trainers are also practicing consultants, we often try to schedule classes 6 weeks out. If your needs require more urgent training, please give us a call to discuss.
Our classes and hands-on activities are designed to be readily applicable to people in different kinds of organizations, industries, and roles. But if you need something more customized, let’s talk and figure out what you need and how we can best help.
We are not currently certified PMI or IIBA training partners, but our requirements fundamentals training DOES count towards your PDU/CDU requirements. Once the training has been completed, we’ll provide you with the information you need to apply them.
Because our classes are intended to be interactive, we do not offer a self-paced online option at this time. All of our classes are led by professional consultants with years of experience documenting business requirements for a variety of clients.
