This video demonstrates an issue that we found in Alfresco 4.1.6 (though it may also apply to other 4.1.x versions). When folders are named with 8 hexadecimal characters, Alfresco applies the ‘sys:temporary’ aspect to these folders. Once that Aspect has been applied, rules are no longer executed against these folders.
