Business Analyst Tip: Exporting Shape Information from Microsoft® Visio 2010

It’s been a couple of years since I exported shape data from Microsoft Visio, and recently I had the need to do this again. 

I remembered it as being a convoluted process involving opening Microsoft Excel before I exported data; much better than re-typing the data, but still a bit of a pain. Since I couldn’t remember the exact steps, I did an internet search to find the steps. And, I’m pleased to say, I found something much better.
