In this You Tube video, we demonstrate a way to customize the “Suggestion Box” feature of Ephesoft 3.0.3.4. We use custom scripts to set “Alternate Values” that show up as Suggested Values for the user.
This can be useful if you have a field with a long list of potential values that cannot be auto-extracted from text within the document itself. The advantage of the Suggestion Box feature over a simple Drop Box is that it will narrow the list of potential values as the user types. If the list of potential list of values is quite large, this can be a great time saver for the user:
